The Rostrum series invites speakers, artists, and performers from many fields—including literature and poetics, philosophy, politics, biology, agriculture, theater, dance, education, visual art and others—to present their work and to converse with Bard students. The series introduces students to the intellectual, artistic, and civic life of the College and to the College’s vibrant tradition of welcoming guests from the wider world to engage with the community of faculty and students at Bard.
