Applicants should have a strong interest in general education at the undergraduate level, a commitment to writing as one of the cornerstones of the liberal arts, and an active interest in interdisciplinary research and collaboration. Demonstrated success as a teacher is essential. Terminal degree (MFA or PhD) is preferred. New faculty responsibilities in 2019 include:
participation in two weekend meetings (June 7–9 and August 9–11)
a one-week training session (July 8–12)
intensive full-time teaching during the program (August 12–29)

2019 Application Instructions Applications will be considered on a rolling basis beginning Friday, March 8, 2019. We will give preference to applications received by Monday, April 8. letter of interest that gives a sense of your teaching philosophy, teaching practices, and approach to diversity and inclusion
three letters of recommendation, which should be submitted directly to Interfolio by your references (see link at right for information on submitting recommendations)
complete sets of student evaluations from two courses you have taught recently
writing sample (prose sample, preferably an essay; no page or content requirement)
